Julie Anderson

Throughout my life, I have been deeply committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others. I had the privilege of working alongside my parents, Curlie and Alice Anderson, in their ministries, dedicating ourselves to outreach and community support. Following the passing of my mother, I continued this important work in collaboration with my sister-in-law, Akaree Anderson. With a heart for service, I strive to help others improve their lives in meaningful ways. This may include securing essential resources for everyday living, assisting with goal setting and life planning, providing physical support for those with disabilities or limitations, or simply offering a compassionate listening ear. My mission is rooted in the belief that even small acts of kindness can lead to profound transformation.

Akaree Anderson

My name is Akaree Anderson and I am DOO for Gifted Hands, an organization dedicated to empowering the lives of others. I have experience helping individuals served with disabilities and personal care needs for over 20 years, and I am passionate about providing compassionate care to individuals. I received my Social Work degree and completed my masters degree in Special Education from the University of Akron. Currently, I am teaching students with special needs. My lifelong goal is to bring immense personal fulfillment to others and for our organization, Gifted Hands, to have a positive impact on individuals in our community, supporting their independence, enhancing their quality of life and promoting their well-being. My personal motto: “Strive for excellence in all that I do.”
